There is a journey that we must all make during our lifetime and the destination is ultimately in our control.

Many of us experience the complexity of life on a daily basis. Too many of us still do not know what we want to be when we grow up, regardless of our age. We go through life day-to-day saying, “Today is the day I will change. Today is the day I make my contribution to the world.” The sad part is many of us are never able to take the first step in that journey to the fulfillment of the greatness we all have within each of us.

We finally wake up one day and realize that life has slowly passed us by and just because we were fearful of the unknown, lacked the motivation, or simply felt that we did not have what it took to achieve the greatness that is locked within each of us. We have not only failed our family and ourselves but society as a whole. Many us leave for work each day to something we call a JOB, which really stands for Just Over Broke instead of a commitment which comes from the heart because we feel it is our destiny and an integral part of the obligation we each have to our families. It is true we all have obligations, but the first step in the journey is realizing the obligation we have to ourselves in contributing to the betterment of our families through self-improvement and learning to find, not just the right JOB, but the right commitment to guide each of us and give us a mission in life.

I can tell each of you, regardless of what you have done in your life, regardless of the hardships you have been through, when you think you think you have seen your last rainbow there is still hope. You can begin again. You can start over. You can find the success and happiness that you so rightly deserve and it is waiting for you to reach out for greatness. Every minute is a new chance for you to begin again. Every hour is a new opportunity waiting for you to reach out and take hold of your dream. The clock is ticking. You will never experience this one moment in time again. If you miss the opportunity inherent in that moment, that moment is gone forever, and so is part of your dream. I was once behind a runner who had a tee shirt on that said, “I have never lost a race. I was just a little behind when time ran out!” Don’t let time run out on you. Make every minute count. You may never have this opportunity again.

Many of us feel that to achieve new beginnings all we need to do is read a few books on motivation and miracles will happen, and we are well on our way in achieving everything life has to offer. Life is a journey on an unknown road with no directions to your destination. You must have a clear, self-made plan for your life. It must start and end with a plan. Climbing mountaintops day after day, some days we get a little closer to the top and some days we fall down, but we get up to continue the journey. Never give up. Move forward everyday towards your dream regardless of the stumbling blocks placed in your path. You will soon learn that these obstacles are merely stepping-stones in achieving your success.

I am willing to share with you stories and lessons I have learned along this journey called life, anecdotes, and tales that will inspire you, motivate you and some that will even break your heart, but all will give you an insight into your life journey.

You will make many sacrifices along the way to achieving your dream. Some will involve friends who discourage you, drain every ounce of your energy, and cannot see your vision because they lack one of their own. Always remember some people make the world go round, and other people just go around with the world. Where do you currently fall in shaping our world?

Growing up from very humble beginnings, raised by my grandmother Mrs. Bessie, who had a third grade education, who sewed my first clothes from the cloth of chicken feed sacks, there is not a day goes by when I don’t think of the sacrifices she made for me. She instilled in me the values of hard work, commitment, determination, and a core belief that we should always do the right thing. She taught me that life is hard and sometimes it will knock you down either with people or obstacles that come up in your life, but life goes on. It always has. It always will.

It is my greatest hope that within the pages of this website you will find the answers that you have been seeking. To achieve true happiness and success, and that you will come to believe Miracles Are Possible as long as you believe in yourself and you are willing to give back to others who will eventually take the same journey. When you reach that mountaintop, take a look back and you will see the thousands of people you have influenced and followed your lead. Then, just before you take that final step up to that mountaintop, reach back and offer a hand to an individual to lift them up so that they too will know Miracles Are Possible. Be their guiding light and shout it from the top of your mountain, Miracles Are Possible for all who seek greatness in their lives!
